Local Government Training Institute Student Organisation(LOGISO) is the central government of student’s body. It carries the status of quasi – autonomous non-governmental organization which aims at fulfilling its objective to the best interest of students and in accordance with Local Government Training Institute Establishing Act.
Membership is mandatory to all registered students and every student pays annual fee to support student’s activities and organization.
I would like to welcome you all for learning and enjoy the life at LGTI.
I. To protect and promote students in all aspect of life during their stay at the Institute in accordance with the Act.
II. To establish proper communication between the management and students and maintaining harmonious relation between students and academic members of staff, workers and the institute community in general.
III. To express through lawful means the consensus of the students towards various action of the government or any other organization or institution as entrenched in their constitution, guidelines, declaration or any other pronouncement.
IV. To promote love and respect for learning, the pursuit of truth and to insure that every students understands his/her responsibility in education and search of knowledge.
V. To stimulate and promote spirit and love of arts, sports, music and other desirable aspect of culture in order to make the institute fertile ground from which best talents are developed.
VI. To maintain and promote fraternal relation with other students of higher learning institutions in Tanzania, Africa and the world at large.
VII. To seek advancement of free and democratic society based on principles of equality and justice which uphold the basic principle of human right, freedom and liberty of individual.
VIII. To do all such other things as may be conducive to attainment of the foregoing objective.
