Dear Website Visitor,

Objective

To provide academic support pertaining to library, registration, admission and examination services.

Functions

This Directorate perform the following functions: -

(i)    To plan, co-ordinate, direct and control student admission, examination administration, and all matters related to the              Institute’s certification processes;

(ii)    To administer adherence of policies, rules and procedures governing the Institute’s such as NACTE and other pertinent           bodies;

(iii)    To administer the Institute’s policies, rules and procedures for students’ admission, examinations, certification,                          registration and records;

(iv)    To consult with head of academic departments for scheduling of the assignments in accordance with the Institutes                and Governing Board Regulations;

(v)     To prepare and moderate examination draft papers in accordance with the Institutes regulations;

(vi)     To deliberate on examination reports and provide Official results; and 

(vii)     To facilitate convocation and graduation ceremony events.

(viii)    To report and advise on library services;

(ix)      To manage acquisition, classification and cataloguing and stock taking of library materials;

(x)      To initiate and supervise development or review policies and strategies related to usage of library and documentation             and acquisition of information and materials;

(xi)     To operate library services in accordance to standard regulations;

(xii)    To build and maintain archives for historical and other relevant documents;

(xiii)   To supervise the utilization of library resources; and

(xiv)     To build capacity on simple and common library procedures and practices.
