The Department of Local Government Accounting and Finance is an academic department started in 2007. It is among the four (4) academic departments in LGTI other departments being; Department of Community Development, Department of Human Resource and Management as well as Department of Local Government Administration and Management. PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The aim of this training
programme is to supply the current and future labor market with
adequately trained semi-professional personnel in Community Development
who will work efficiently and effectively in both public and private
sectors.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The minimum entry qualification for Basic Technician Certificate (NTA
level 4) in Community Development shall be as follows:
(i) Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or
its equivalent with at least four passes of grade “D”.
(ii) National Vocational Award (NVA level 3) recognized by Vocational
Training Authorities with a Certificate of Secondary Education
Examination (CSEE) with at least four passes of grade “D”

leavers and holders of Ordinary Diploma in Community Development or

fields at NTA level 6 with second class pass.:

(ACSEE) with at least one principal pass and one subsidiary pass
(ii) NTA Level four pass performances in Community Development or other
related programmes
